Terrapin Kennels are the proud breeders of one of the winners for the 2002 Purina Champions Campaign, the Number One Malamute in Canada in 1994, Number Eight Overall Canadian Working Dog 1994. We were the owners of the Number One Female in the United States for 1998, #3 overall Malamute in the US for 1998 and Top 20 Winner for 1997 and 1998, breeder & owner of the #2 female Puppy in the US for 1999, owner of the #2 female in Canada 2002. We are members of the CKC, AKC, AMCA, AMCC, ASA and the Saluki Club Of Canada.

In 2007 our Saluki puppy, Sharpie, BISS Can Ch Sandstorm Magic Marker CGC won Best In Sweepstakes, WD, BOW and Best In Specialty Show at the Saluki Canadian National. This was an enormous thrill for us.

In 2006 I became a Canadian Kennel Club judge and am an all breed licensed judge.

I have had the honour of judging many Malamute Specialties including the Canadian National Specialty twice, Great Lakes Alaskan Malamute Club, Empire Alaskan Malamute Club, Northern California Malamute Club, the French National & the Spanish Nordic Specialty. I have also judged the Canadian Bouvier National Specialty, Canadian Mastiff National Specialty and the European Dog Show. I have judged in England, France, Spain, Australia,  United States, Japan and the Czech Republic.
