Dylan winning Best In Veteran Showcase for his age group at the AMCA 2003 National Specialty
Dylan-
Was our homebred Multi Best In Show Winning Malamute. He was
the Number One Canadian Malamute in 1994 and Number Eight overall Working Dog.
In 1993 he was the Top Class Dog in the US, in 1992 he was the Top Male Puppy
in the US.
June 6th, 2005 - Dylan passed over the rainbow bridge at over thirteen years of age. A friend of ours said that Dylan was like the "poster boy" for malamutes and that was so very true. Everyone who ever saw Dylan always wanted a malamute just like him. While he may not be the dog everyone remembers me having in the ring he was nearest and dearest to my heart.
After
many years of retirement he didn't forget how much he enjoyed showing every
weekend years ago, when the show lead comes out he would become ecstatic. His
constant wooing and stomping his feet in excitement while in the ring people
still and always will remember. Since retiring from the show ring he earned
both his American & Canadian CD titles with top placing scores.
At the 2003 US National in Sturbridge, MA he
won the 10-12 Veterans
class (quite an accomplishment at a national specialty). He also won the best
in his age division in the Veterans Showcase.
His parents are Terrapin and A/C Ch Kasaan's
Cause For Applause (Am Ch Kasaan's Fortune Hunter ROM x Am Ch Kasaan's
Blue Ice Autumn ROM).
