In
2006 we ventured into the breed of Salukis. It was quite the change for us from
Malamutes to this skinny dog that was so independent, aloof and never came when
called but despite all of this we fell in love with him.
His parents are Paul, Ch Al Khabar Boulboul and Passion, Am/Can Ch Windstorm
Lucky Premonition JC.
Sharpie's breeder is Kathy Morton from Sandstorm Kennels in New York.
I would like to thank Kathy for trusting us (new Saluki owners with a kennel
full of Malamutes) with this young boy.
Sharpie has had a great start to his show career ~ He is a Best In Specialty
Show Winner, Best Puppy In Show Winner, Best In Youth Sweepstakes Winner and a
Group Placer at just over a year of age.
In June 2007 the Saluki Canadian National was held in conjunction with the Kilbride dog
shows:
