Am/Can Ch Terrapin's Livin On The Edge CGC wins his
class in Veteran Sweepstakes and wins Best Veteran Dog at the Malamute
specialty at the Cleveland Crown Classic shows. Thanks to Patty Peel for
showing Gryphon in the breed ring. Frisco, Am/Can Ch Terrapin's Cherry Garcia WWPD CGC pulls 1100+ lbs each day he pulled at the weight pull in Cleveland, Ohio. He dug down and gave everything he could showing unbelievable heart and determination. It is amazing what these dogs will do when asked by their owners. Frisco also won the working dog class and made the cut for the breed at the Malamute specialty at the Cleveland Crown Classic shows. Thanks to Jennifer Remazki for showing Frisco in the breed ring. Gibson, Ch Terrapin's Tequila Talkin goes Reserve Winners Dog to a 5 pt major at the Cleveland Crown Classic shows. Brie, Ch Terrapin's Hocus Pocus places 2nd and 3rd in huge classes at the Cleveland Crown Classic shows. |

In Veteran Sweepstakes at the 2003 Alaskan Malamute Club Of Canada
National specialty held in Montreal.
Nash, Am Ch Terrapin's Roc Solid (Frisco's brother) goes Reserve Winners Dog at the 2003 Alaskan Malamute Club Of Canada National specialty held in Montreal. He also went Reserve Winners Dog a the United Kennel Club shows held on Friday and Sunday. I had the opportunity to show Maiyah, BISS Am/Intl Ch Awanuna Kasaan's Fortune Factor at the Canadian National and the United Kennel Club shows. She went Reserve Winners Female at the National and Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite over the female specials at the United Kennel Club show. |
| November, 2003 | Frisco has another
qualifying pull towards his weight pull title in western Michigan at the
GLAMC weight pull event. He
now has 4 qualifying pulls which earns him his weight pull title!
Brie wins WB & BOW in Fort Wayne, Indiana under judge Cathy De La Garza. She also wins WB & BOW in Grand Rapids, Michigan under judge Lowell Davis. |
| October, 2003 | We went to the 2003 US National in Sturbridge, MA where Frisco earned a leg towards his weightpull title (he pulled 1050 lbs), Gryphon placed 4th in the 8-10 yrs Veterans class, Dylan placed 2nd in the 10-12 yrs Veterans class and he also won best in his age division (both sexes combined) in the Veteran Showcase. All in all we had a successful showing at the 2003 National Specialty. Photos to follow shortly. |

| August, 2003 | Terrapin Alaskan Malamutes do well Stateside in Marshall, Michigan. Frisco goes WD & BOW for a 3 pt major and the following day RWD to a 4 pt major. At the same show Gibson goes WD. |
| July 19, 2003 | Chynna gives birth to 6 healthy puppies - 4 boys and 2 girls. Frisco is the proud father. |
| June 22, 2003 | Hunter finishes his Canadian championship in just 3 weekends. Winning a Best Puppy In Group along the way. |
| May 10, 2003 | Brie gives birth to 8 healthy babies - 5 boys and 3 girls. Gryphon is the proud father. |
| May 2003 | Bond wins WD, BOW, BOB & Best Puppy at his very first show in Dorchester, Ontario. |
| May 2003 | Frisco wins WD & BOW in Lexington, KY under judge Mrs. Chris Walkowicz for a 3pt major. |
| April 25, 2003 | With sadness I report the passing of Harley, Am/Can Ch Kasaan's Cause for Applause. March 7, 1991 - April 25,2003. While Harley only sired one litter, he did produce our first BIS winner, Dylan. Harley will be sadly missed by his owner Geoff Pass. Thank you Bonnie for this wonderful dog. |
